Art in the New Children’s Hospital – Stories Behind the Books compiles all the art donated to the New Children’s Hospital, combining authors’ reports with rich images.
Non-fiction writer and author of the book Merja Asikainen carried out interviews for the book with the artists, whilst graphic artist Timo Setälä designed and executed the visual look and layout of the book, as well as photographing the artists. The artwork for the book was provided by Johnny Korkmann.
The book has been translated into Swedish and English. The book is not for sale yet, but the New Children’s Hospital Support Foundation has donated 450 copies to Finnish libraries for lending.
